Oakland County
WOTA is a product of community partnerships -people working together for the common good. WOTA's growth and expansion would not be possible without the generous support of Oakland County taxpayers. The Oakland County Transit Millage allowed for a more robust service to meet the needs of our community. WOTA works alongside the County to build transit in northwestern corner of Oakland County. Transfers with Local Transit Providers
Although WOTA has a significant service area, there are locations we don't travel, like Oxford, Rochester or Troy. For trips outside our boundaries, we partner with local transit providers NOTA, OPC, SMART and PEX to get you where you need to go. Contact dispatch to set up your transfers to go farther with WOTA!
Community Connections
In addition, WOTA is a proud member of several community organizations including:

- Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce
- North Oakland Regional Chamber of Commerce
- Waterford Chamber of Commerce
We work closely with area senior centers, community parks and rec programs, our local school districts, libraries, and food banks. WOTA recognizes that it takes many different organizations to meet the varying needs of our riders. We do our best to help keep informed about services and provide opportunities to participate in community.
